1 · Fixed fee, named deliverables
SOW lists artifacts — control matrices, CI gates, evidence packs — not billable hours. Budget is locked before kickoff.
2 · Async by design
Deep work runs 7:00–10:30 AM CT. Written updates within one business day. At most one 30-minute sync per week.
3 · Engineering evidence
Controls map to CI checks, IaC rules, and export jobs. Assessors follow git history — not a scavenger hunt of screenshots.
4 · Your team owns it
We augment engineering; we do not embed full-time in Slack. Your eng lead reviews PRs and operates the guardrails we ship.
5 · Data stays yours
Zero data retention on client systems unless agreed in writing. No training on client code or credentials.

Do you replace Vanta, Drata, or our GRC tool?
No. We wire engineering controls and evidence into tools you already use — or into git directly — so GRC dashboards reflect reality.
What access do you need?
Scoped repo, CI, and cloud access for environments in scope. Least-privilege roles and async PR reviews — not shared admin consoles.
How is this different from hourly consultants?
Fixed-fee SOW with named deliverables. We earn credibility when your audit passes on time — not when the engagement runs long.
